Jakarta, 17 March 2023 – KoinWorks, the first neobank for MSMEs in Indonesia, announced a collaboration with Google Cloud Indonesia to provide Google Workspace services in the KoinWorks apps. With this collaboration, MSMEs can make payments for the Google Workspace service they choose through KoinBill, an online bill payment feature found in KoinWorks NEO.
The service, which will be available at the end of March, is a breakthrough in providing access to digital tools for MSME productivity, such as access to professional email, collaborative documents, video meetings, and cloud-based data storage, which is more affordable and easier to access since a credit card is not needed to activate the mentioned tools. This facility can also provide a collaboration space for MSMEs, thus increasing effectiveness for daily business operations.
The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs stated that more than 20 million MSMEs have gone digital in 2022. KoinWorks takes a holistic view of MSMEs’ penetration into the digital ecosystem by recognizing and providing easy access to productivity tools that can improve MSMEs’ performance significantly.
It is unfortunate that MSMEs still have limited ways to obtain these facilities, the most obvious aspect being that they do not qualify for credit cards needed to avail of these tools, which is why KoinWorks and Google Cloud Indonesia are answering this challenge.

Furthermore, Ardi Setyadi, Google Cloud Indonesia’s Digital Native Sales, explained other features of Google Workspace that can help MSMEs. “Business players can link professional domains with Google Workspace, to increase the credibility of their business. In addition, the integrated search feature makes it easier for users to find and get information quickly, including from mobile devices, like looking for invoices for customers stored in emails.” he explained.
To access Google Workspace services through KoinWorks, MSMEs only need to register a business account and NEO account in the KoinWorks apps. After successful registration, the user can go to the KoinBill page and select Google Workspace to proceed with the transaction process. With the KoinWorks NEO user base currently reaching more than 100,000 MSMEs, KoinWorks is on target with its goal to push for inclusivity within the digital ecosystem that will only serve to further uplift and empower MSMEs all throughout Indonesia.
