Jakarta, November 25, 2021 – KoinWorks in collaboration with Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna) officially launched KoinWorks NEO, the first special Neobank service for SMEs in Indonesia. This innovative product aims to assist SMEs in obtaining digital banking services.
The growth of SMEs in Indonesia is quite high. However, out of 60 million SMEs in 2021, only 2 out of every 100 SMEs will receive loans for business capital. Most SMEs do not have access to good finance. The majority of SMEs are also unable to open a bank account in the name of a business, and eventually open an account in a personal name that is used for all personal and business purposes. Therefore, SMEs find it difficult to manage business finances. This challenge of needs is the background for KoinWorks’ collaboration with Bank Sampoerna.
